The annual NSSC Birthday Race was held under sunny skies and light winds on Sunday, September 8th, 2002. 36 boats participated in 4 classes and stuck it out to the shortened finish. Results of the race show dedication by all of the participants -- the last boat finished nearly 3-1/2 hours after starting. After the race, the annual Steak Roast was held at the Club house and the fun ensued as Rich King presented awards for finishers.
