Have you always wanted to learn how to sail? If so, here is your chance to learn locally, on beautiful Lake St. Clair and Anchor Bay. Our Adult Learn to Sail Program is open to people 18 and over. In this class, you will experience the joy of sailing, build confidence and learn new skills including water/boater safety, and seamanship in a small group setting on a 22-25 foot sailboat.
Instructors are US Sailing Certified.
Curriculum is based on US Sailing and American Red Cross “Start Sailing Right” and US Sailing “Red Book”.
Classes meet over 4 weeks; either on Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings
Tuition $350, includes book and boat use
Prerequisites: ability to swim and bring your own life jacket.
